Health benefits: Brew these delicate flowers in warm water to see the magic unfold! They release a captivating blue colour that quickly changes to purple with a few drops of lemon juice. These flowers contain various active compounds that, according to Ayurveda, benefit the brain – they improve memory and promote better mental health.
Brewing instructions: For a hot brew, add 1 teaspoon per cup (150ml). Always pour hot water (80°C) on the flowers and not the other way around. Steep for 2-3 minutes.
Storage advice: Store in the pouch or transfer to an airtight container, kept in cool dark place. If not consumed immediately it should be stored in the refrigerator.
If storing in the freezer, pack in small completely airtight packets or jars. Before use, wait for it to reach room temperature to prevent any condensation. Each packet should be used within a week after opening.
